Cuddle Clones Donated $340 to Callie’s Medical Fund
In 2013 Cindy Bartels took a trip to the Great Pyrenees Rescue of Wisconsin to get more information about volunteering. Little did she know that Callie was about to enter her life. Callie used to be a little boy’s dog. Once she started getting as big as Great Pyrenees do, the family decided she was too large and relinquished her to the rescue. For 8 months she waited until that fateful day when Cindy walked in. After leaving, Cindy couldn’t get Callie out of her mind and within days she had submitted the paperwork to adopt her.
Their life together has been wonderful with Callie fitting right into Cindy’s home with her and her cats. She didn’t think she would ever be able to love again after losing a previous dog but Callie filled her home with love. Unfortunately, Cindy was soon to find out that Callie had cancer and was in need of many costly medical treatments.
The fight to save Callie and give her the best remaining years of her life as possible has taken a toll on Cindy’s wallet and she has reached out for help. Cuddle Clones recently donated $340 to their GoFundMe account in an effort to alleviate their financial burden. Every month, 10% of all profits are donated to help animals in need.
